Handmade and ethically produced goods you can feel good about gifting (or keeping)!

Morris & Essex makes gorgeous and colorful textile and paper goods for you to enjoy! Everything is designed by me, Eliza Jane Curtis. I work hard to use sustainable materials and ethical practices to turn my designs into durable, fun products for you to give or keep. Most items (scarves, tees, tea towels) are silkscreened by hand in my studio in Cornish, Maine. Handmade tote bags, infinity scarves, letterpress greeting cards and wooden ornaments are created in collaboration with other talented maker friends here in Maine. And a few of my items (framed prints, phone cases, journals, enamel mugs) are made outside of my studio by carefully selected, ethical producers in the USA and Europe, using my own original patterns and designs.
